Ukulele Lessons
Learning Through Music offers both individual and group ukulele lessons for children and adults alike at our 4 music studios around Adelaide.
Our excellent ukulele instructors and innovative learning programs ensure that our students progress rapidly, have a firm grasp on the basics, and build on that foundation to learn more complex techniques while having fun!
Beginner Ukulele Lessons
The ukulele is much smaller than a guitar and is tuned differently. It’s considered a ‘beginner-friendly’ instrument, and is fun to learn! Beginners will learn the basic chords and strumming patterns, sight reading, and chord anticipation.
Intermediate & Advanced Lessons
As students advance their skills and build a solid technical foundation, they are then encouraged to explore the different genres of music available, as the ukulele is a deceptively versatile instrument. Advanced techniques such as complex strumming patterns, fingerpicking, and chord anticipation are also taught to students at this stage.

Studio Locations
LTM Studios are conveniently located with onsite carparking and close to public transport. Studios are a great place for meeting likeminded musicians, and gain inspiration from seeing other students with their chosen instruments enjoying lessons.
Lesson Times
Typical ukulele lessons are 30 minutes in duration, but can be shortened or lengthened to meet the needs of individual students. In Primary or Secondary schools, students can be given a specific time for their LTM lessons which will be arranged with their class and music teacher.
